Bone Health in Children: Healthy Children = A Healthy Future

Strong bones are built during childhood. Proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and a healthy lifestyle at this stage help build strong bones for a healthier future.

🦴 To Build Strong Bones:

🥛 Eat calcium-rich foods such as milk, yogurt, and cheese.
🥚 Get enough Vitamin D from eggs, fish, and safe exposure to sunlight.
🥬 Include leafy green vegetables and a balanced diet.
🏃 Encourage at least 1 hour of active play or physical activity every day.

⚠️ Consult a Doctor if Your Child Has:

• Persistent bone or joint pain
• Difficulty walking or running
• Slower-than-normal growth
• Frequent bone fractures

Early diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and healthy habits can help ensure a healthier future for every child.

The Nepal Orthopedic Association (NOA) is committed to raising awareness about bone health and promoting healthier lives for everyone.
