Message from President

Respected seniors, and dear Colleagues

I take this opportunity to extend my greetings and thanks to you for the trust and confidence in bestowing me as president of this esteemed organization. Nepal Orthopaedic Association was established 28 years back it has prospered in spite of the many adversities that have come along. From around 30 members during its inception, NOA has grown having around 700 members at present with many subspecialty societies in the respective fields. The association is a common forum among its members. The purpose could be socialization and networking, sharing of knowledge and skills among other fellows and gaining it from seniors and expert in the respective specialty, by the medium of CME, workshops, conferences and so on. Even though this is a volunteer organization, the tireless efforts, shown by its members has resulted this society to bring to this state. This is not the destination; we have a long way to go.

Let us recognise the responsibilities and challenges we have. We will exert full effort to be able to attain new objectives, as well as able to sustain the ongoing activities of NOA. Your co-operation, contributions, guidance, and feedbacks are of utmost importance for further advancement of the NOA to further higher-levels.

We are open to your comment's, suggestion & constructive criticism. As a dedicated commitment of our colleagues, our critical role and mission would be in helping individuals regaining their mobility and lead active, healthy lives. Our expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal problems is unparalleled and our commitment to patient care is truly remarkable. I would hope that each of you, will embrace this mission and become involved in our association. Support its programs, volunteer to serve on a committee, participate in initiatives that are important to us and to our patients. Only by becoming so engaged we will realize the full value of our membership.

For the last few years Orthopaedic specialties and services in the Nepal have expanded tremendously. Opening of subspeciality societies and their activities in the field of academic, research and services has increased the height of Orthopaedic fraternity and the society. Nepal orthopedic association would like to congratulate all the specialty societies and their member. I would like to assure you all that NOA will always be facilitating to broadened the specialty Orthopaedic services in Nepal.

As the President of this association, I am committed to working with all of you to further advance the field of Orthopaedics. Together, we can continue to make progress in developing new treatments and techniques that will improve outcomes for our patients and ensure that they receive the best possible care. Thank you for all that you did and I look forward to working with you in the years to come.
