Yonezawa Awards

Yonezawa Award established in memory of

Dr. Michiyo Takumi Yonezawa has been presented at the
annual NOA Conference since 2004. It recognizes the best
papers in two categories — Best Resident and Young Surgeon
— encouraging excellence in orthopaedic research and
practice in Nepal.

Eligibility Criteria

For Best Paper – Resident award, the candidate must be a
resident in Orthopedic Surgery in a Nepalese Institute at the
time of ORTHOCON 2027 .

For Best Paper – Young Surgeon award, the candidate must be
less than or equal to 5 years since Postgraduation at the time
of ORTHOCON 2026 and must be working in Nepal.
