This prestigious award, established by the Nepal Orthopaedic Association (NOA), has been made possible through the initiative and generous support of Prof. Dr. Vinod Thapa.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be an NOA member.

  • Only original research papers are eligible.

  • Case reports, review articles, letters to the editor, short communications, etc. are not eligible.

  • The research must have been conducted in Nepal (publication can be in any journal).

  • Research conducted outside Nepal, even if published locally, will not be considered.

  • The applicant must be the first/principal author.

  • Co-authors who are NOA members are not eligible.

  • Articles must be published between 1st January 2025 and 31st December 2026.

  • The submitted work must not be part of a thesis or academic degree requirement.

  • Once submitted, a paper cannot be re-applied for future awards.

  • Articles published before the eligibility period will not be considered.

  • All submissions are subject to the final decision of the NOA Executive Committee, which reserves the right to accept or reject applications without obligation to provide justification.
